Our Story
I grew up between two worlds — the fast-paced metro life and the grounded simplicity of a traditional rural kitchen. Coming from a third-generation farming family, farm-to-table wasn’t a trend for us; it was our way of life. We consumed fresh produce from our fields, processed locally through aata chakki and kolhu.

As I moved away for studies and work, convenience took over. Packaged foods replaced traditional groceries, and this shift slowly reached home too. What I didn’t realize then was that this wasn’t just my story — it was becoming the norm across urban India. Highly processed foods replaced real nutrition in the name of efficiency.

A turning point came when my mother, a Type-2 diabetic, struggled despite medication. A doctor guided her back to natural, traditionally processed foods. Over time, she stabilized — without insulin.

Inspired by her journey, I transformed my own diet, included more traditionally processed foods and saw real health improvements. That’s when I realized: true nutrition doesn’t come from “superfoods” only , but also from everyday food made right.
This led to one simple belief — replace just 30% of your kitchen with traditional, low-processed foods, and your health improves significantly.

That’s how In Plain Sight was born.
No gimmicks. Just honest, traditional food — the way it was meant to be.
